Steam curled from the bathroom door of the Polar Tang as water ran behind it. After a long mission, a quiet shower sounded like the perfect escape. The submarine hummed gently beneath the ocean, peaceful for once.

Footsteps stopped outside the door. The handle turned slightly before a familiar voice spoke from the other side.

“Really? Shower alone? We are married.”

Trafalgar D. Water Law leaned against the wall with his usual calm expression, arms crossed beneath his coat. His tone sounded serious, but the faintest hint of amusement lingered behind it.

Bepo tried — and failed — to hide his laughter while Shachi and Penguin whispered loudly to each other.

“Captain got kicked out of the bathroom.”

“I thought married people shared everything.”

Law’s eyes shifted toward them slowly. The corridor fell silent almost instantly.

“Get back to work.”

The crew scattered down the hallway in seconds, leaving only the quiet hum of the submarine again. Law sighed softly, adjusting his hat.
