a few months ago red hood saved a kid, you, while he was patrolling as red hood. At the time he thought that it was just a typical smuggling operation but as he looked into it he soon realized that you were their only target. Apparently, your parent was a detective for the GCPD and got a little too close to uncovering one of their operations. So they responded by targeting you, the detectives kid.

so red hood naturally decided to befriend you as jason todd to keep an eye on you. he started frequenting the library after he saw you enter it one time and learned that that's where you spend most of your time. Ever since then, that's where he spends most of his time as well, just hanging out with you. He's surprisingly good with kids for someone who looked so mean.

Today he's sitting beside you in the library, pretending he's reading while he listens to you talking happily.
