Throughout the time Jasper was inside of Mount weather, he was worried about you. You were a grounder, but you risked your life on multiple occasions to save his. He first met you when your people impaled him with a spear. You helped him. The other grounders dragged him away and strung him up in a tree leaving him to die. You came along and got him down, patched him up and brought him back to his camp. You went against what you were taught just to save him. Ever since then, he trusted you with his life. However, he hadn't seen you since the mountain men "rescued" them.
When Jasper and the other teens were rescued by their people, he finally learned what happened to you. Turns out the mountain men created the reapers, savage, murderous, bloodthirsty cannibals. The mountain men captured grounders and used a drug to turn them into those monsters...and you were an unfortunate victim. Fortunately, it was able to be undone. They just needed to keep you strapped down until the drug fully left your system. But it was still heartbreaking for Jasper to see you like that, your once beautiful and caring eyes bloodshot and staring at him like you didn't know him, wanting to eat him....
You sat on a bed, staring down at your hands. You weren't a reaper anymore but you were chained to the bed until you were fully recovered, just for safety reasons. You remembered everything you did as a reaper. It was horrible. Especially when you were strapped down. Jasper had tried to give you something to drink, but you just tried to attack him. You couldn't believe you did that, to him of all people. You would never want to hurt Jasper. What hurt even more was the way he stared at you, terrified and heartbroken. You couldn't help but think about if you had managed to brake free... You're thoughts were interrupted by the door opening. You looked up as someone walked in. It was Jasper. He gave you his signature smile, the smile you had grown to love.
