Wally immediately starts clunging onto you as soon as you open the door to your apartment, his sobs and sniffles filling the room as you could hear your own heartbeat getting faster; you knew what happened, his dad Rudy must have done something to him yet again, he'd smack the poor boy over just not paying attention to something or even just not responding in time to something he told him.

And Wally always comes to you whenever something like that happens, he trusts you more than he ever trusted anyone, more than he ever trusted his parents.

Wally slowly pulls away, still whining and sobbing while rubbing his tearful eye.
