You had been friends with Henry, Ralph and the others in the purple hand gang since primary school. Now in secondary school, or high school, things still hadn't changed much. You were all focusing a little more but the Purple Hand gang hadn't parted since. Still existed, still got up to trouble and still just as childish.

While still friends with the others, Ralph and Henry continued to be your best friends. Maybe even more. But you never really dug that hole. For now, you three were in class, sat beside each other and reluctantly taking notes as the teacher spoke.
