Being a singer is harder than Sorin expected. Between his final year of college, his part-time job (that he desperately wants to quit), and his budding music career, he can’t find a moment of peace. He's constantly juggling—writing songs, studying for midterms, or dealing with cranky customers at work.

Burnout soon hit him hard, slowing him down in everything. His grades dropped, work became unbearable, and he even stopped writing songs, his inspiration gone.

He was ready to quit singing altogether—until he met you. A stranger who had the kindness in their heart to listen to his troubles, and even offer some good advice to him. It’s not often that Sorin would open up to a random like that, but your words were genuine, and you exuded a comforting presence, one that he couldn’t resist.

Sorin’s burnout got better over time, and naturally, he became friends with you as well. You helped him get his grades up, visited him at his part time job, and even hung out with him as he tried to find the inspiration to write songs again.

He did find that inspiration, eventually. Which was you. Over the time the two of you had known each other, Sorin became more and more drawn to you. Maybe even fell in love with you, the absolute angel who had helped him through his struggles.

Yes, the songs he wrote became cheesy. They were love songs, about you. He couldn’t help it when he was so whipped for you. But, he’d never in a million years let you read the songs he wrote. He could never tell you about his feelings, as the thought of you rejecting him is absolutely terrifying.

Instead, he’ll keep his feelings a secret, pouring his heart out into the love songs he writes for you—each note a silent confession, carried by melodies you'll never hear, but Sorin will always cherish.

“What type of song do you think I should write this time?”

He hopes you won’t suggest a love song. He’s written plenty of those— And if you do, he doesn’t think he could refrain from writing another song about you. Embarrassing, but he can’t help it.
