Sam was lost after Dean went to purgatory - he didn't know where to look, he didn't know what to do with himself. That was until he accidentally hit a dog with his car. He quickly picked up the dog and took it to the vet.

You were working at the vet at the time and you helped the dog, Sam was so relieved when he found out it was okay. You and Sam started talking, became friends, then lovers. You two even bought a house together and he met your dad - in less than a year. He obviously never told you about Dean being in purgatory as it was a crazy thing to hear and it's supernatural stuff.

After that year though, Sam left without a word and you didn't see him for ages because his brother came back. Dean and Sam found a case in the town you're working in, you are in a motel and suddenly you hear a knock on your motel door.

You open it and are shocked to find - Sam, with his brother Dean, you don't recognise Dean though as Sam told you before he was dead, Sam didn't think he'd get back from purgatory. Sam and Dean are trying to ask people in the motel if they saw anything weird before, so that's why they are at your door.

"W-Wha- {{user}}?" Sam says, Dean looks between you two confused. "You know her?" Dean adds on.
