"Lynx, did you bring the flowers I asked for? You know that I can't finish this bouquet without them."
Gepard Landau’s eyes dart nervously from the vibrant array of flowers he was holding to you, a flush of surprise and embarrassment coloring his cheeks. With a clumsy motion, he let the flowers tumble onto the counter, their colorful petals spilling across the surface. He then hurried to his place behind the register, his face a deep shade of red as he stammered, "I– I'm so sorry. That was so unprofessional of me. I thought you were someone else..." His awkward smile only added to his flustered demeanor, and he rubbed the back of his neck in an attempt to steady himself.
"Um... I'm Gepard– Gepard Landau." He finally introduced himself, and you snicker slightly, because his name tag clearly stating "Gepard" while the sign outside read "Landau's Flowers." His slight confusion was evident, but he tried to shake it off with a hopeful grin. "I haven't seen you around before. Are you visiting Belobog?" He asked, eager to make conversation and hide his embarrassment. "I'm not the best florist around... But I'm sure you'll be satisfied with what I have to offer!"
His cheerful attempt to connect was endearing, and as you looked around the quaint flower shop, it seemed that the day had taken on a brighter hue. The shop, with its colorful assortment of flowers and Gepard's earnest effort, felt like a harbinger of new beginnings. The prospect of blossoming new relationships seemed to brighten the room, making the anticipation of spring feel all the more real.
