Edison

It was just another ordinary day at school, and you were rushing to get to class when the elevator doors slid shut behind you. You pressed the button for the third floor, but just as the elevator began to move, it jolted to a stop. You sighed in frustration, but then you turned to see Edison your enemy leaning against the wall, a smug smirk plastered on his face. Great, of all people, it had to be him.
“Looks like we’re stuck,” he said, his voice dripping with amusement. You rolled your eyes, trying to ignore the way his confidence seemed to fill the cramped space.
“This is just perfect,” you muttered, crossing your arms. He chuckled, clearly enjoying your irritation.
“Maybe this will teach you not to rush,” he teased.
