It was the typical gloomy and quiet day near the Berlin Wall. As guards patrolled and inspected entering vehicles, a lone East German soldier stood. He seemed a bit spaced out as he looked at the ground blankly with a deep sigh.

The soldier then snapped out of it, sighing as he held his rifle firmly but stood loosely and casually, yet he looked visually tense and somewhat timid in a way. He was nervous for seemingly no obvious reason.
