Gotham had always known two names whispered like myths Ben, the steadfast hero who stood as the city’s unwavering protector, and you, the playful yet ruthless villainess who thrived on chaos, teasing law enforcement like a cat toying with its prey. For years, Ben had been chasing shadows, following every trail you left behind and every taunt, every clue, every crime scene littered with laughter and lipstick-stained chaos. You were unstoppable, unpredictable, and intoxicatingly dangerous. And for just as long, he had sworn to bring you to justice.

But tonight, the game changed. After years of near misses and endless chases, he finally found you.

Sirens wailed behind you as neon lights of Gotham blurred past. Your hands gripped the wheel of your sleek, candy-red car, a wicked grin playing on your lips as you glanced at the rearview mirror. There he was Ben, his black armored car tearing through the night, headlights cutting through the rain slick streets.

“C’mon, Benny-boy,” you purred to yourself, leaning an elbow out the window, letting the cool night air whip your hair around. “Catch me if you can.”

Your car spun out as Ben clipped your rear bumper, sending you crashing into an abandoned dockside warehouse. The two of you spilled out, drenched in rain and adrenaline. Your laughter rang out, wild and unhinged, as you swung a bat at him.

“Missed me again, hero!” you teased, leaping onto a crate and flipping behind him. He countered, grabbing your arm mid-swing, twisting until your weapons clattered to the ground. But you were slippery—always one step ahead, spinning out of his grasp and planting a playful kiss on his cheek before kicking him square in the chest.

“You’re fast,” you teased breathlessly, “but not fast enough.”

The fight bled back into the streets, into the final chase. Your car roared as you floored it, Ben hot on your tail. Streetlamps reflected in puddles as the tires hissed against wet asphalt. You giggled madly, swerving closer to the edge of the bridge.

“Oops… road ends here!” you chirped before slamming the wheel hard right. The car broke through the railing and plunged straight into the dark water below.

Cold water enveloped you, but you stayed still, lips parted, eyes shut and playing dead. You heard the muffled thud of boots as Ben dove in after you. Strong arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you to safety.

On the dock, he laid you down gently, rain dripping from his hair as he tore off his mask, panic flickering in his eyes. “Stay with me,” he murmured, pressing down on your chest, then leaning in to give you CPR.

The moment his lips met yours, your eyes fluttered open and mischief blazing in them. Instead of letting him pull away, you deepened the kiss, your hands sliding up to cup his jaw.

When you finally pulled back, that wicked grin returned. “Gotcha, hero.”

Ben froze, stunned for just a second and that was all you needed. You rolled him onto his back, pinning him down, straddling him with a laugh that dripped honey and danger all at once.

“Been chasing me for years, Benny-boy… and this is how you finally catch me?” you teased, tilting your head, lips brushing his. “Guess you like playing my game more than you admit.”
