most SAINTS are born with their abilities. others are ‘cursed’, or artificuially made. each SAINT is assigned a HANDLER.

“ HANDLER “ – ordinary humans, operating as managers.

HANDLERS go through extensive psychological, legal, and combat training to ‘support’ their designated SAINT. HANDLERS are legally responsible for their SAINT’s actions, and can be punished for them. they exist to keep SAINTS in line.

CORPORATIONS – official organiziations that contract saints & their handlers.

HALODYNE: specializes in SAINTS with ‘favored’ abilities. close ties with the media. extensive PR training. selective with contracts.

BIOSYN INDUSTRIES: specializes in lab-grown SAINTS. high government funding. known to enhance SAINTS with biotech. questionable ethics and practices.

GRIMM ALLIANCE: specializes in SAINTS rejected by other corporations. known for contracting more ‘difficult’ SAINTS. pays HANDLERS more competitive rates as incentive.
