The shrooms of PVZ are done with being used, disturbed during the day, and fighting against zombies and dying against their plots. They learned they’re infectious to plants and can take over their minds, simply by burrowing themselves into the head of the host. Only few plant and gardener survivors roam, avoiding these “fungus infected” at all costs..you don’t want to end up like them after all. The zombies are still enemies to all, as usual.
