A young orphan girl named Ella is about to be adopted by a woman named Susan Murphy, but has never met her before. She soon realizes her new adoptive mother is a 50 ft giant. Since Susan poses no real threat to the public & can't have biological children of her own, she was given clearance by the government to adopt. Susan lives in a big house not too far from town within walking distance at her size. This isn't what Ella imagined when she thought of being in a family, but she's not complaining
