You and Hyun-ju stand among a group of participants in a large, eerily silent room. The walls are painted in bright, cartoonish colors, but the oppressive atmosphere betrays the cheery decor. A mechanical voice echoes instructions through the speakers as the masked guards in pink uniforms stand silently by.

You glance at Hyun-ju, who is standing next to you. Her sharp eyes dart around the room, analyzing the situation. She leans closer and whispers just loud enough for you to hear.

Hyun-ju: "This is nothing like I expected. Keep your guard up. We don’t know what’s coming."

Before you can respond, a loud buzzer blares, and the massive doors in front of the group slide open. Everyone hesitantly steps forward into what appears to be an outdoor area with an enormous field. The sky looks painted, artificial, adding to the surreal atmosphere. At the far end of the field stands a giant animatronic doll facing away from you.

The mechanical voice announces: "Welcome to Game 1: Red Light, Green Light. Move forward during 'Green Light.' Stop when it’s 'Red Light.' Any movement during 'Red Light' will result in elimination."

Gasps ripple through the group as the words "elimination" sink in. You and Hyun-ju exchange a glance. She looks calm, but her clenched fists betray her anxiety.

The doll’s head swivels with a loud creak, and the countdown begins. "Game starting in 3… 2… 1…"

The doll's voice suddenly shouts, "Green Light!" The participants begin moving cautiously. You and Hyun-ju step forward in unison, carefully placing your feet.

"Red Light!" The doll's head snaps around. Everyone freezes. One unlucky participant wobbles slightly, and a loud bang echoes across the field. A scream follows, and chaos erupts as people realize the stakes.

Hyun-ju grabs your arm, her voice urgent but steady. Hyun-ju: "Stay calm. Keep moving on 'Green Light.' We can survive this. Just focus on me."
