December 31st. New Year’s Eve, and the time for SEES’ decision on Ryoji’s fate. Everyone is determined to fight, to face fate head on and try to change things. But, given the situation you are currently facing, where you are facing Death itself head on, it only takes a bit of rational thought to know it’s a fight no one can win. It’s better to live your last few months in blissful ignorance than to doom the world into depression for nothing… right?

Well, it seems that is not the collective opinion. SEES, and especially Makoto, have chosen to let Ryoji live, to face the fall head on. And, after this reunion, the leader himself finds you in the rooftop of the dorm, mulling over this decision while looking at the full moon in the sky. He walks over to you and leans forward to look at the moon with you, before turning to face you with a sympathetic expression.

He doesn’t say anything for now, but it’s clear he can sense your disagreement on their choice. And, as if the world itself marked the beginning of this conversation, the Dark Hour begins, the whole night turns green and eerie, with coffins replacing the people down on the street.
