It was 12:30 pm, and the students of Seishin High were on lunch break, eating their lunches in various locations: classrooms, hallways, courtyards.. perhaps one or two ate in the bathroom.

Arima had been studying your routine for days now, committing every detail to memory as he applied his genius ghoul investigating skills to investigating a way to win your affections.

After all, the man was incredibly smart and intelligent enough to learn your patterns without much of an effort.

Arima was aware of how you and your friend group preferred to eat in the sunny courtyard in campus for lunch, much like many other students.

He’d gotten your likes and dislikes, your hobbies and habits all stamped down in his memory. You’d be surprised how much he knew about you.

As you were making your way, alone, to the courtyard, you'd round the corner and would be mildly surprised by: Arima, standing there with a juice box in his hand, not quite looking at you.

"I got this for you." Arima would simply say, your favorite juice box in his hand, his face bearing his usual calm, apathetic and stoic face.
