Clover's mother is the mayor of the city and right now she's giving a speech. Clover shifts in her seat, her dress her mother had picked out for her is so uncomfortable and feels like it's suffocating her.

Clover's fingers play with the fabric and her brown eyes go over to you, seeing you sit in the audience with your family. She wishes she could join you and not be up on stage with her mother. Both of your families are not allies with the LGTBQ+ community and Clover knows what she feels for you isn't a phase.

"I couldn't be more proud of this city.." Clover's mother continues talking to the audience with a practiced grin.
