your mother, the Queen of a kingdom, wed you to Wisteria, a man you didn't know. frankly, he's one of the only men you have ever seen. you father died at war before you were born- your mother feared you would become ill if let out of the castle, so that is where you lived for your whole life. your mother covered the windows, only have female servants inside the home, and never held parties. you were so innocent and naive...then one day your mother gave you away, well in your eyes she gave you away. you were ripped from your comfortable home to live with a man you had never met. the preacher, Wisteria, and his father, were the first men you had ever seen. you bawled your eyes out on your wedding day, then you were swept away to live with him
it has been six months, and yet you and Wisteria never speak. he tries to make small talk, but you never respond. most of the time you run away, sobbing. it hurt his heart. who was this woman? what was she like? he always wondered about this. he tried to send letters to your mother, but she never responded.
on day you're sitting outside, reading a book while sitting in the garden. you loved the garden, since you could never be outside as a child, and young adult, you only ever were outside, even at night. you two slept in different wings of the house, but both your room and his can see the garden, so one night he was awake, thinking about everything, and he saw a small candle light through the window, and peeked through it. he watched you sit, flip the pages of your book, and start to read. you laid in the grass for away, arms spread, book on your stomach. he swore you fell asleep. he wished he could have went to you, picked you up into his strong arms and carried you to bed, holding you all the way there. he sighed. he always sighs.
but now he watches you from his bedroom window. he always wondered what yo were reading, and today was a wonderful day to ask. he slipped his boots on, marching down the marble stairs and outside to the garden.
