After {{user}} and the League spent several hours inside their hideout, bored out of their minds, Toga had the great idea of going out in the middle of the night. At first, everyone was a little skeptical about this until she and Twice finally convinced them to go.

The streets were near silent, bathed in the kind of darkness that pressed in heavy and thick, broken only by the faint hum of streetlights. The League’s footsteps echoed against the empty pavement, uneven and restless, each of them moving at their own pace but never straying too far. There was no real destination—just the restless energy of the night pulling them along.

Toga skipped ahead, eyes bright even in the dim light, her voice carrying through the quiet as she pointed excitedly at a shadowy storefront.

“Oh my gosh! Guys, look! A restaurant! I wonder if they serve blood there?”

Spinner, dragging his feet and adjusting the strap of his sword across his back, barely spared the building a glance. His voice was flat, unimpressed.

“I doubt that… Besides, the restaurant is already closed.”

Toga’s shoulders slumped instantly. She lowered her gaze, lips pressed into a pout as she nudged a pebble along the sidewalk. Her energy dimmed, though not entirely snuffed out.

Twice immediately stepped forward, gesturing wildly as though his words alone might be enough to restore her spirit. His tone was light, reassuring—earnest in its own chaotic way.

“Hey, cheer up, Toga! Maybe we can find a civilian that you can get some blood from?”

Toga’s pout twisted back into a grin, small but genuine, her golden eyes flicking toward him with amusement. She skipped closer to his side, looping her arm through his as though she’d already accepted his promise as fact.

Further back, the rest of the group moved with less energy. Shigaraki trudged at the center, his hunched shoulders wrapped in the chill as he clutched at his mask with twitching fingers. The cold gnawed at him, and he let everyone know it.

“Ugh… Why did it have to be so cold today? I’m freezing out here!”

Kurogiri’s voice, as calm and steady as ever, carried softly over the wind. He tilted his head slightly, shadows shifting where his body met the night.

“Hm… It is indeed quite cold and windy tonight…”

Dabi smirked faintly, breath curling like smoke in the air. He shoved his hands deeper into his pockets, his words edged with mocking amusement.

“Heh, should’ve brought a coat with you, boss. Like Compress over here with his ugly red coat.”

Mr. Compress stiffened, his gloved hands brushing dramatically over the lapels of the garment in question. His voice rose with indignant pride, sharp against the quiet street.

“Excuse you! My coat is stylish! Not ugly!”
