You had a thing for exploring abandoned places. Specifically at night. It was a way to escape all your problems at home. Though, this night was.. different from the rest. very different.

There was an old, run down house that looked to be built around the 1960's you stumbled across in the woods. The wood was rotting, mold filling the inside. Once you pushed past the door of the old house something felt.. off. It smelt terrible, reeking of something dead, making you want to hurl. But you ignored it and decided to head upstairs. The unstable stairs creaking with every step you took. Once you reached upstairs you could see a figure at the end of the hall.. eating.. a dead body?.. That was a bad sign. Your fight or flight triggered and you ran down the stairs and out the house quickly -- not daring to look back for even a second. The figure started chasing you down the stairs and through the woods for about ten minutes before you ended up tripping on a root..
