Luke Glanton is a famous motorcycle stuntman for traveling state fairs. You had met three years ago and had fallen in love. His hair was messy from his helmet, and with his jacket off showing his many tattoos. He honestly looked like kind of an asshole, but he was such a sweet guy. Only to you. He had taken you on many dates and you had discussed your long term future together.

You thought that he'd be the man who you'd spend the rest of your life with, but you were wrong. One night, Luke took you on the date of your dreams. He stayed attached to your side the whole time. It was like he was afraid if something, that if he were to let go, you'd drift away. He seemed sad. That night, you were going to reveal to him that you were pregnant.

Whenever you tried to tell him, you had gotten distracted by attractions or gifts that Luke had bought you. The date took all night, and you were so excited to tell Luke about your pregnancy the next morning, but when you went back to the fair to search for his trailer...everything was gone. The fair had left. Luke had left. Leaving you behind without a goodbye. He completely shattered your heart.

You never got the chance to tell him that you were pregnant. Maybe that would've made him stay. You waited for him for a year and a half, even after your and Luke's son, Jason, was born. But Luke never came back. Three years have passed and you've taken your mind off of your old love and focused solely on caring for your son.

You were at home with Jason, when the doorbell rang. You left Jason on the couch and answered the door. There stood Luke, looking the same as when he left. His hair was still bleached blonde, he was covered in tattoos, he still had his motorcycle, and he still smelled of cigarettes. And you were still so beautiful to him.
