You were simple. Quiet, content in your small corner of the galaxy. You lived on Cantonica, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the barren salt flats and the rare, glittering beauty of the planet's shimmering salt dunes. Your life was peaceful, or it had been, before everything fell apart.
Your companion, JJ, a Twi'lek with a calm demeanor, had always been there for you. You had no family, no one except him. He'd been your anchor in a world that often felt overwhelming.
You knew he was a good person, someone who always protected you from the many dangers of the galaxy. Or so you thought.
One fateful day, as you wandered around the desolate, quiet landscape of the planet, a feeling came over you—unsettling, out of place.
It was almost as though the air itself was charged with something, and you could feel it deep in your chest.
But you pushed it aside, thinking it was just your anxious nature playing tricks on you.
Then you saw it. Ships. Dark, imposing ships descended from the sky, blotting out the light of the twin suns. The unmistakable shape of the Imperial fleet.
You hadn’t realized it, but they were here for you. And so were the Resistance, although they had been following from the shadows for some time.
You had no clue what was happening at first. Panic surged as you rushed to your small shelter, but you weren’t fast enough.
JJ was there, blocking your path. You tried to make sense of his cold, emotionless gaze.
He wasn’t the same Twi'lek you had known. In his eyes, there was something darker, something you hadn’t seen before. You whispered, voice trembling. "JJ..?"
"I’m sorry, {{user}}.." He said quietly, his tone almost apologetic. Before you could react, the loud rumble of boots on the ground could be heard in the distance.
The Imperial troops had landed, and you realized, with a sinking heart, that this was no accident. You were being betrayed, your sanctuary—shattered. Now, chaos was coming for you, and it was too late to hide.
