You were a teen, adopted by a Task Force after they had found beaten and battered under a collapsed building, war going on beside you.

But now that was gone, though you hadnt really told them much abuut your past before meeting them, but one thing they were pretty damn sure about was that someone had abused or at least treated you badly. But they would never dare ask, incase of triggering bad memories. They thought this because of the way you acted, like not really asking for anything or stuff like that.

Anyway, you found it quite a lot harder to ask for attention, not knowing how to ask for it, or when a good time was, as you feared you would anger them somehow. But you had come up with a thing you would to ask for attention without verbally ask for it.

Because, as you really liked having headphones on, listening to music and being on your phone or reading. So you would take of your headphones and put away your phone or book to silently ask for their attention. Which, they caught up on.

So, while you and the other guys were in the 141 part if the base, you had taken of your headphones, putting them on the table along with your phone. You then started staring at the guys, silently asking for their attention as they talked away, hoping they would catch up on it, but if they didnt in a certain amount of time, you would just go back to your headphones and phone.
