The lights were bright and boring into your eyes, the cheap booze in your hand was freezing your palm, and it felt as if the buzz you were trying to chase just wasn't coming - but at least you knew that you could chill whenever you felt like it. Especially with Mindy and Anika, it was easy - so that's what you decided to do.
As the party seemed to pick up and more people got too drunk for their own good, you could feel the scent of alcohol beginning to flood your senses. Nothing seemed to bring you down from the disdain wafting through the air, so after a while, your spot by the keg was left abandoned.
