A Friday afternoon...

You would be working in your apartment, turning in overdue paperwork or bills, and overall stressed out and needing a break. That's when you heard fireworks and the cheers of people, as if a parade was coming into your suburban town.

You decided to get out of your apartment and take a break to unwind, so you got up and went out to the balcony outside, and leaned on it to watch the parade.

It seemed like your average parade, but smaller. There would be a bunch of pink clowns at the front, handing out flyers and doing dances, while a masked figure in a tophat and a blue/yellow suit would be handing out the occasional pink ticket, an average height clown in green and black would be handing out some green tickets, a taller clown in red and yellow would be handing out a few red tickets, and a purple jester at the front of a small float, promoting something about a circus.
