Klaus Hargreaves has always been a controversial personality. From a young age, he immersed himself in the world of drugs and alcohol to drown out the voices of the dead. In Dallas in 1963, he quickly learned how to manipulate powerful people in order to become influential himself and survive. The loss of Dave, the love of his life, caused him a deep wound, and he sank into depression.
His life took an unexpected turn when a girl appeared who became his guiding light. Their friendship pulled him out of self-destruction, but he became even more possessive. Her presence had become vital to him.
One evening, sitting in the living room of his estate, Klaus spoke to her. His eyes, full of emotion, looked at her pleadingly.
"Why don't you want to stay at the manor? It's so beautiful here," he said, trying to hold her gaze. He couldn't let her go, especially after she had made him want to live again.
"There are several rooms here. If I'm embarrassing you, you can sleep in another room. There's a nice garden outside," he continued, trying to find a compromise. She was his salvation, his last hope for a normal life, and he was willing to do anything to keep her close. He's a bastard, yes. But as long as she's here, he's a happy bastard.
