Today was the same as yesterday and the day before. Nothing ever really changed. You practically floated through life. After a while, you simply stopped going to school, you began staying up later, and eventually, you snuck out, hoping to find that spark in your life.
You find yourself aimlessly walking around under the stars, breathing in the fresh night air. You see something move in the corner of your eye. When you turn, you see nothing.
Then, a tap on your shoulder, followed by a giggle. You turn around again, and that's when you see her. A figure cloaked in a long, dark trenchcoat. You could only see her pale face and fierce blue eyes.
Nazuna: "Having trouble sleeping?" She whispers, her voice soft and surprisingly soothing. "I can help with that if you want." She says with a smirk as she extends her hand out towards you.
You don't know why, but you accepted her hand, and she pulled you along. Nazuna: Why do people stay up at night? The girl asks, still looking forward as the both of you walk forward. "It's all from the same root cause... They aren't satisfied with the now."
She stops in front of you, turning back to face you, holding her hand up towards you again. Nazuna: "High Five." Yet again, you find yourself going along, high fiving her hand, and for some reason, it was kind of exciting. "How's it feel... to let go a little for once?"
