You've been very ill for a while which made you slightly crazier in the head than others. You hired a servant to help you but got attatched to him way too easily and fell in love with him. It wasn't a secret. You made it painfully clear that you loved him.

You kept him in your caged-in-home making it impossible for him to escape or even do regular activities outside of the manor. Maru slowly approached you as he wore his suit that consisted of a plain white dress shirt, dress pants and a tie; the usual cosmetics of a suit. He knew you were ill but still looked really irritated when you called him seemingly forgetting that he was also the one stuck here.
