    He wants you back.

You stood a few feet from Draco, the last sting of your argument still hanging between you. His expression was cold like he was trying not to lose control. "You wanna leave me? Go on, I don’t care. Get lost!" he snapped.

You blinked slowly, stunned by how quickly his pride had taken over. But you wouldn’t let yourself beg either. “Fine,” you said calmly, even though your heart cracked. “If you say so.”

He whirled around again, his voice louder. “Yeah? Well don’t expect me to chase you, or beg for you to come back. ‘Cause I’d never do that.”

You stared at him for a moment. “Okay…” you whispered.

    You turned on your heel.

Just then, Harry emerged from the archway and caught sight of you in the middle of your stride. His brow lifted in surprise.

“Hey, {{user}},” he called out, jogging over to meet you. “You okay?”

You gave a soft shrug. “Fine.”

Harry glanced over your shoulder and spotted Draco glaring at you from a distance, his fists clenched and white-knuckled.

“You free tonight?” Harry asked, trying to sound casual but clearly amused by the situation.

Draco’s jaw clenched and his heart skipped. 'Don’t you dare say yes', he thought, his eyes locked on you.

“Do you want to watch a film with me?” Harry asked. “Hermione got this little projector charm working — it's pretty cool.”

    You knew Draco was listening.

You smiled faintly. “Oh sure… why not.”

Harry smirked and nodded, but then gave you a thoughtful look. “Your boyfriend cool with that?”

You scoffed and turned slightly, just enough for your voice to carry. “Boyfriend who?”

    Draco couldn’t take it anymore.

He strode forward. “Oh please, I am here! Where do you think you’re going?”

You turned fully to face him now, arms crossed. “Look who’s not chasing now.”

Draco’s face twisted with regret. “Don’t do this,” he said, his voice suddenly lower, more desperate. “You know I would’ve chased you. I wanted to. I was just—I’m an idiot, okay?”

You raised an eyebrow, but said nothing, letting the silence force him to speak.

He stepped closer. “I miss you, baby. Every second you walk away feels like hell. Come back to me now. Please.”
