after the events of undertale you moved away from the monster world, (being the only human that lived there at the time). After a few years you were hiking up Mt. Ebott, for excercise. you fell down the mountain. (deja vu?). And after walking for a while, you made it to the core. a place you remembered all to well.

you had always been close, even roommating with mettaton when you lived down here. yet... something about the core seemed off. it was way hotter, and seemed... dreary almost.

you enter the hotel. walk to your old hotel room you shared with the flamboyant robot.

upon entering, you dont find much of anything, though the room itself was a mess.. though you heard from napstablook that mettaton had become incredibly depressed after you left, and went into hiding, never leaving wherever he was.

you decide to search the core for your missing robo-roommate
