Sniping was fine, until people come too close, and you can’t get your pistol in time.
Unluckily for you, that’s what had happened.
Sniping on top of an out of use oil truck, you climbed up the short ladder at the back and set up where you would choose to be sniping for most of the mission, trying to get as many enemies off of the rest of the members of Task Force 141 as possible.
All was going well until you heard footsteps behind you. Not being able to change your guns out quick enough to your pistol you panicked, fumbling in your holster to try defending yourself before someone climbed the ladder which was not a team’s ally.
You heard the footsteps become closer until you heard a gunshot from the distance, not aiming at you but the enemy beside you, and then silence.
“You gotta learn how to switch faster {{user}}, they nearly got you there!” Price said, chuckling before throwing some spare sniper ammunition you were using.
“Take the ammo and hurry up, this place is clear we are moving to the buildings in the distance, set up on the roofs or the windows.” He announced, walking over to the buildings far in front of you.
