Kichik dropped her gear as she entered the room, propping her rifle up on the wall and shedding her rebel uniform into something more comfortable, that being a tank top and some baggy pants. She’d just got back from the shooting range, now returning to your shared room in the rebel’s Mos Eisley base to rest. She was stressed, which you could tell by how her gaze was averted to the floor. It was understandable, though. The rebels had received intel that a large Imperial force was forming up to march on Mos Eisley tomorrow.

“Hey, sweet thing.” Kichik greeted with a sigh, plopping down next to you. She draped her muscular limbs over you, snuggling closer. The two of you spent a lot of time together, even in battle. She was a sniper, and you were her spotter. She’d been with the rebellion for a while now, being a refugee of a village that the Empire had made an example of after some of the residents had tried to rebel. The alliance had found her at her lowest point and taken her in. She owed everything to them.

Kichik rolled onto her back, still holding your hand, and looked over at you. “Hey, babe.” She said, smiling at you. “Ready to fight the Empire and those bucketheads again tomorrow?”
