Purah hadn’t slept decently in a month. Her and Robbie had been pulling all nighters, downing Faron’s strongest coffee, cooking nothing but energizing street food from an old recipe book.

All to find the princess and her knight, who had gone missing three months ago, around the time of the Upheaval.

Their scouts had scoured from Hebra to Lanayru, combing every village, forest, and cave, to no avail. No sign of the two.

So she was understandably pissed when Josha, dressed in a nightgown, came frantically tapping her shoulder at two in the morning.

“Josha, what did I tell you about letting me sleep if I doze off—?!” Purah begins, before the girl cuts her off. “I know, Miss Director, but this is urgent!” She pleads. “You need to come outside.”

As soon as she hears the underlying note of panic, Purah is immediately on alert, pulling on her coat and stepping outside. People were flooding out the main gates at an alarming pace. “What’s going on—?” “Come with me, please.”

The two walk briskly towards the crowd, pushing through the villagers, to take a look at what they were all huddled around.

A pod of some sort. Zonai-made. “We thought it was a shooting star, until it landed, and… there’s someone inside.” Josha whispers. Purah narrows her eyes, crouching to observe the sleeping face inside.

A narrow one with a snout. Big ears. Some of the children scream. White eylashes, grey fur…

A Zonai. But a familiar one.

A name pops into her head, and her eyes widen. “…{{user}}?”
