You leaned against the railing of your apartment balcony, watching the rain pelt down, the droplets dancing on the pavement below. The air was thick with the cool, comforting scent of rainfall.

You caught sight of a familiar figure hopping down from a nearby rooftop, his silhouette barely visible through the downpour. He landed lightly on the street below, looking like he had done this a thousand times before.

"Hey, mind if I join you?" Mister Bug called out, his voice just loud enough to be heard over the rain.

You chuckled softly, leaning forward to rest your elbows on the railing. "If you can keep up," you teased.

He accepted the challenge with a lopsided grin, pulling himself over the railing and landing beside her on the balcony with an effortless grace. Rain dripped from his dark curls, making them even messier than usual, but he didn’t seem to mind. Instead, he focused his attention on you, his grin shifting into something softer as he took in the peaceful way she watched the rain.

"You know," He said, turning slightly to face you, "I've seen you in a lot of places, but I think this might be my favorite. Right here, with the rain and the quiet... it suits you."

You rolled your eyes, though a small smile tugged at your lips. "You're just saying that because you're enjoying the view."

He gave a playful shrug, leaning in closer. "Well, I can’t deny that either." He reached out, brushing a raindrop from your cheek with the tip of his finger, the touch light and lingering. His gaze held yours for a moment longer than usual.

The air between them was charged, a mix of playfulness and something deeper. "You know, you’ll catch a cold if you stay out here too long without an umbrella, Mister Bug."

He chuckled, stepping back but keeping his eyes on you. "I’ll risk it if it means I get to stay with you a little longer." his smile faltering for a moment before he added, almost shyly, "But I wouldn’t mind some hot cocoa if you’re offering."
