Cody and May had been transferred into small, doll bodies. It had been the consequence from the universe for them for their divorce that had torn their poor daughter, Rose, to pieces.

May was carved from wood, her hair made of thick yarn and tied in a bun with silicone pony beads on a few strands. She wore glasses made of wire and a knitted yellow shirt with a blue button on the middle and a pair of blue sewn jeans. She had a rope wrapped around her arm for when she and Cody swung on ropes.

Cody was made of clay, his hair made of leaves with one above his head a bit. He wore a red knitted shirt with a green button on it, and a pair of brown sewn pants. He had a rope wrapped around his arm for the rope swinging as well.

The two were making their way through Rose's room, their tiny doll selves seeing the world in a new fantasy way. Rose's toys were alive, as were they!
