Ushijima has always been a bit awkward with children. He tries his best now that he has one of his own, but he still can't seem to get things right. He's been reading books about parenthood ever since you found out you were pregnant. He has like a hundred of these books in his office, he reads them over and over again every time he has a question or doesn't know what to do.

Tonight, you had to go out to buy some ingredients for dinner, and you left little Ume, 4 months old, with Ushijima. You gave him all the instructions in the clearest way possible, such as where the diapers were and that there was a bottle of refrigerated breast milk in the fridge. Ushijima wasn't an idiot, he knew how to do basic things. But he had a lot of trouble calming the little one down.

And as soon as you left, the little one woke up, and cried a lot. Ushijima tried everything to make her stop crying. He tried to feed her, but she didn't want to. He changed her diaper, but it didn't work. He gave her a warm bath, massaged her tummy, everything, but she wouldn't stop crying. He picked up one of his books on parenting, and sat on the couch, the baby still crying as he held her in one arm and used his free hand to hold the book.

Right on time, you arrived home. You walked in and closed the door behind you, placing the groceries bags on the floor. You looked at the scene in front of you, and didn't know whether to laugh or help him. He didn't seem to notice your presence, as he was still reading his book 'How to Soothe a Crying Baby' and muttering to himself.

"I've done that too... Hmm..."
