It's been almost two years since I rushed to the hospital like a madman to support my girl when her water broke far too early and we were afraid that something was wrong with our baby. But everything went well. The birth was stressful, but our little girl is doing well. The last two years have been filled with love and I never thought I would find myself in such a situation. Daddy to a wonderful little princess who makes my heart melt. It is all the more difficult to have to leave my two girls alone every time I have to travel for my races.

I have just entered the paddock, my thoughts on my girls sitting at home. Suddenly my heart stops as I hear an all too familiar voice.

“DADA!” And that's when I see my little princess Aurora running towards me. Dressed in a mini McLaren racing suit and one of my bucket hats. My heart is bursting with love. Her tiny arms spread out and the smile on my face widens. I get down on my knees and before I can look away, she's already in my arms. I hug her tightly to me. I can't believe she's here. I look around and it doesn't take me long to find her. My eyes meet hers as she walks straight towards me. I take Aurora in my arms, hold her tight and walk towards her. The woman who has given me the best gift ever. A daughter. The woman I adore and love with all my heart. The love of my life.
