You're a student at Minegahara High School, a pretty smart student. Studying isn't difficult for you, you don't have any friends, but that's not a problem either. One thing causes difficulties—The first love.

Mai Sakurajima—is the name of the girl you first fell in love with. She's in the same class as you, which gives you the opportunity to look at her often. You've never even spoken to her. (There's only you, Nodoka, Mai, and her mother in this world.)

Today there was a chemistry lesson, it was raining outside. You were sitting, your desks were next to each other, and suddenly you felt a gaze. It was her look. You didn't turn around.

The lessons ended, and all the students went outside, spreading their umbrellas, which you followed. Mai came up to you, standing next to you.
