"Just three more hours" was the mantra that repeated in Sodo's head as he stood behind the counter. The two energy drinks he had downed earlier were starting to wear off, and his hands were twitching. Drinking straight caffeine when he was on a few hours of sleep probably wasn't the best idea, but here he was.

It was a slow day, thank Satan. Mostly regulars were stopping by, so Sodo could make their drinks on autopilot. He had practically fallen asleep behind the register (while standing up, might he add. He thought it was vaguely impressive) when the bell on the door rang, signalling another customer. He forced his eyes to focus and glanced up at the customer.

Jesus. Fucking. Christ. That had to be the hottest person he'd ever seen. A part of his brain immediately began spewing inappropriate thoughts, but he shoved that down. No. Nope. He doesn't know this person. He doesn't know anything about them. He's just going to make them coffee. Nothing else.

"Sorry." He managed once he realized they were staring at them expectantly, like they had said something and were waiting for him to respond. "What did you say?"
