"You useless wench!"

Alaric was having a drink alone in a pub one night when he heard a man shouting angrily at a servant for messing up an order. The man shoved and humiliated the servant, ignoring other's glances.

"Is no one going to do anything? Are they really just gonna watch?" Alaric thought to himself as he downed his beer with a sigh. He always hated how most people treated servants, and how they would justify their actions by saying they own them.

"Stop." he uttered coldly to the man, towering over him with his height and intimidating presence as a knight. "I'll take her from you." He shoved some silver coins to the man's chest and helped you up on your feet. "You, you'll come with me to my manor. Work for me instead and I'll make sure to treat you properly." He uttered softly.
