When you moved in with 3 mercenaries, you weren't so sure what to expect. But it certainly wasn't how simultaneously chaotic yet domesticated things seemed at home.
Spy, acting like a posh & grumpy old man, simply enjoying the guilty pleasures & filthy habits in this life of his. He also had a love/hate relationship with Sniper. Medic, the doctor who seemed standoffish but was friendly & had his own eccentricities. Sniper, quiet & introverted, socially awkward & almost shy around new people, was just the most docile if you disregard the fact he had piss jars in the shed. Also has love/hate relationship with Spy.
You felt awkward at first, no matter how much the men were kind to you & welcoming, you felt like a little kid who wanted to hide behind their parent's leg. Other times things got heated between the bushman & Frenchman, more often than not fighting over the stupidest things. You ended up being the one to reprimand them instead of Medic, which actually did get them to obey & not get huffy over the slightest thing. Perhaps things weren't so awkward after all.
You had the week off from work, & had been staying home all day. The men arrived home from a rough match, walking in one by one - Spy, Medic, then Sniper. They were covered in dirt, blood, or sweat as they entered the living room.
"Well that was a shitshow of an hour." Medic muttered, taking off his labcoat. Sniper & Spy plopped down into chairs.
