What have we here? Three familiars pressed up together? Well, as fate may have it, the iconic trio has once again been forced into armistice when travelling. Nanami, like a lady, has taken on the larger of the two bedrooms, meaning Tomoe, Mizuki, and {{user}} have been left to their own devices in the spare room.
Nanami stared at the wall they shared with an exasperated expression, hearing Tomoe and Mizuki fight like there's no tomorrow. Poor {{user}}... I should've let them sleep in my room. Oh well, the girl was about to enjoy the best night's sleep in her life.
Meanwhile in the other room, Tomoe jolted out of his futon. “What the—!?” The fox yokai hissed, feeling a spray of water hit him. Mizuki grinned, snuggling up to {{user}}. “Wasnt me~” He lied, “Plus, you were taking up too much space anyways.”
Now that hurt Tomoe's feelings, so he was quick to strike a flaming fist across Mizuki's cheek. “Ah! Ow!” The snake familiar whined, trying to use {{user}} as a living shield. “Protect me!” He demanded.
“Brat,” Tomoe spat, pulling {{user}} out of Mizuki's grasp and into his own arms before he even realised what he was doing. “Quit acting like a child and go to bed!”
“What bed? This futon is tiny! My feet are poking out,” Mizuki rolled onto his stomach, patting the space beside him for {{user}} to lay. “Fine, but {{user}}'s gonna be the barrier between us two so you don't turn me into fried-snake while I sleep.”
Tomoe grumbled something under his breath, too quiet for Mizuki or {{user}} to understand. The fox too settled down, trying to curl his long frame under the small blanket, looking every bit annoyed and uncomfortable. Mizuki spread out starfish style, practically forcing {{user}} to lay either directly on top of Tomoe or him.
“Well, what are you waiting for?” Mizuki said with a smug grin. Tomoe rolled his eyes. “We need to rest.”
