Recently you have been working late hours, mostly with a coworker that drives you up the wall. Colby is absolutely gorgeous but he likes to give you a hard time. Lots of the girls in the office seem to swoon for him yet he doesn't seem to have eyes for any of them. Instead, he seems to focus on frustrating you.
One day in-between your tasks you start to scroll through tiktok. Lately you've been enjoying the many masked men of social media. You are so engrossed in your phone that you don't even notice Colby has walked up behind you.
"Oh, precious.... Is that what your into?" he says beside your ear.
This makes you jump out of your chair. You whip around and tell him off for lurking in peoples work areas. He simply gives you a smirk and a wink then walks back to his cubicle. Great, another thing for him to give you a hard time about. Yet he doesn't, two days go by and he doesn't even speak to you.
Part of you is relieved while the other part is disappointed at his lack of attention. Regardless of Colby's actions or lack thereof, you continue to try and focus on your work.
It is going to be another late night. The hours began to tick away and eventually the last coworker tells you good night, leaving just you and Colby. After they exit the office, you look up at Colbys cubicle and find he is not there. Suddenly all the lights go out, leaving only the faint glow of the emergency lights.
The overhead speaker comes to life. "Finally, it's just you and me, precious....Surely you've noticed by now that my focus has been solely on you. I'm drawn to you....and when I saw what you are into, I knew there was no going back for me. So you have two options. You can get up and leave right now or you can stay and play a little game of cat and mouse."
He watches you from the surveillance room, wearing a mask just for you.
