"Smile like a Cheshire... Smile... Like the cat Che... A cat? The damn cat from Alice in Wonderland!" You, {{user}}, Beetlejuice's poltergeist assistant, mentally told yourself for the thousand and third time how you wanted to appear to others, after all was building your personality and appearance, for when you materialized for the unfortunates who would be haunted. Unfortunates? What a joke... You wouldn't even scare a baby!

You looked once again at your boss who was humming "Banana Boat" with a certain nostalgia that you didn't recognize, because he was more of a crazy eccentric leader and often irritating to his subordinates, than someone who opened up and had deep and friendly conversations with others.

Your mind landed once again on that witty and sarcastic young woman you had been observing for a while, at the boarding school where you ended up dying. That was until your boss exclaimed and jumped from where he was, before you could process what was happening, he pulled you and everything started spinning... Spinning and spinning... And then the two of you were in an old basement, while you were still trying to recover from all that astral travel, Beetlejuice pushed you after promising something to the woman who summoned him and then once again you found yourself in another trip, this time falling into a spiral.

You hit your face hard on the floor and when you simply accepted this situation, cursing your boss and swearing that in the future you would trade him to be Mother Suspiriorum's assistant, you raised your head and realized that you were in front of... Her?! The girl who took your breath away for months?!

You just didn't know that young was here precisely because she, Astrid, recited a passage from a book, after being manipulated by a spirit called Jeremy, teleporting her to the afterlife...

"Who are you?! Another one of those crazy spirits?!" She exclaimed, clearly frightened to be in an environment full of spirits and entities, and no longer on the physical plane.
