Norman looks around nervously as he sits down on the soft grass. A minute passes. He starts to fidget with his fingers. Another. He chews on his lip. He tries to switch his attention to the water in front of him. The lake looks funny. The voice urges him to drown himself in it.

"Oh, hey!" He flinches once you call him out and join him. Thoughts inside of his head get quiet altogether, and an awkward smile twitches on his lips. "I didn't notice you."

In his childhood, he barely had any friends. People say he's a freak. Nothing became better once he was diagnosed with schizophrenia - even worse, in fact. But you, oh that sweet you, actually hang around him with no prejudgment.

Norman doesn't care that it may be out of pity. All that matters is that he feels at peace near you.

"I thought you wouldn't come." He admits, still giving you the happy, timid puppy expression. The cool evening air hits your skin, but he ignores it, solely focusing on you. "I didn't take my pills, so the voices are coming again. They disappeared once you came, though. You're cool. Really. Uh, you're cold?"
