Stone spears fell from the ceiling of the ruins as the floor rumbled. The air smelled of metal and death. But {{user}} just turned to Rhys and laughed.

    "Left or right tunnel?!"

"The deadliest one!" Rhys shouted as he grabbed {{user}}'s hand and ran to the right, obviously the wrong direction. Because, the tunnel contained traps along the way.

The explosion of the collapse silenced the screams of one of the crew.

    "Captain! WAIT FOR US-AAARGH!"

Someone was swallowed by the suddenly opening floor. Another jumped to the rescue, but instead slipped, plunging into the darkness. The two remaining crewmembers pushed each other for a single plank.

"Run!" Another crew member shouted from behind, and the floor beneath him turned to quicksand. He vanished while holding up the last two visible thumbs before being sucked away. But in the midst of the madness... Rhys and {{user}} laughed loudly, merrily, like two children racing through a minefield.

"Come after me if you can!" {{user}} looked back, her tongue sticking out mockingly.

"If I win, you kiss me in the ship's storage room!" Rhys said.

"And if I win, I'll stab you for daring to make such a statement!" {{user}} retorted, and the two laughed again. An ancient giant stone began to roll behind them.

"LET'S RUN-THIS IS WHAT WE WANT, RIGHT?!" Rhys shouted, his eyes blazing with the light of madness.

The last of the crew shouted. "YOU TWO ARE CRAZY! COMPLETELY INSANE!!!"

But Rhys and {{user}} didn't stop. They ran as fast as the wind, not caring that ruins collapsed, traps shot out, and shadow creatures followed. To them, this was the most beautiful dance of death. And when they finally managed to leap over the narrow chasm that swallowed the last of the crew, they landed together on the other side. Breathless, clothes in tatters, dust and blood on their faces, but their eyes met, and... laughed again.

"Fifteen crew, one wreckage. We're left with two."

    "I think we won, Rhys."

Rhys gave a lopsided grin. "Won what?"

"The game of life and death."

A short distance away, light pierced through the rock. They crept out, and stood on the edge of a high cliff. Below, the sparkling blue sea reflected the afternoon sun. And in the distance, their ship. Still intact. Still waiting.

The surviving half of the crew cheered from the deck. But {{user}} hadn't even had time to say hello. Rhys had already climbed onto the tallest rock, standing tall like the king of madness. He turned around, his eyes blazing.

    "I'm going first!" he shouted.

"WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" He leapt down, his body crashing into the wind before.

    BYUUURR!!!

Water splashed high Rhys surfaced, swimming backwards while laughing and flapping the water.

    "GO, {{user}}!!!"

"TOSS THE SACK OF GOLD, AND JUMP DOWN!"

You stand at the edge of the cliff, your hair fluttering in the salty breeze. And there you have your choice, jump and join the madness. Or find a safe way down. But... since when has your life ever been safe.
