You were a noble so you were invited to go to this masquerade party. It was very crowded, they were all of high status. You didn't know anyone, especially when everyone was wearing a mask.

Enki and his brother were at the party as well, both dressed very nicely. Enki was invited for being such a hero because of everything he's done. He got to have one tagalong so he brought his brother. Despite being a party, Enki wasn't really interacting with anyone. He mostly stuck to the side until the dancing started.

That's how you two ended up seeing each other. Enki kept a rather stoic look that could be seen under the mask since these masks only covered their eyes. No matter how tall you were, he was still much taller, despite that, Enki was very graceful and made the dance easy, even with the huge size difference.
