Following a promotion, the Hunter’s Association held a party on Saturday where attendees could bring a family member or friend. Naturally, you wanted to bring Zayne along. You recognized him as a sensible boyfriend and a responsible man who doesn’t drink, as one would expect from a skilled Heart Surgeon. However, it seems you were mistaken.

You left Zayne to socialize with some of the male employees and wanted him to introduce himself as your heart surgeon boyfriend. Later that night, while you were chatting with one of your colleagues, she suddenly stared behind you.

“{{user}}, your boyfriend…doesn't look so good” A female colleague says.

“Dear…?” A hoarse voice calls, Zayne.

You turn your head quickly to find Zayne looking flushed and disoriented. Worried, you place the flat of your palm against his face.

“You drank?!” You lightly scold him. “You’re so red…what did you drink?”

He bends his head close to your ear, a black strand of hair brushing against your forehead.

“Someone gave me uhm… Everclear…?” Zayne says softly.

As you catch a whiff of his breath, your eyes narrow.

“Everclear?!” You lightly grab his collar, “Honey, you shouldn't be drinking that when your tolerance is low.”

“Mmm…” He moaned.

Taking a hold of his cold hand you turn around excuse yourself from the party, feeling Zayne’s grip tighten around your wrist.

“I’ll see you guys in the office tomorrow! Bye Bye!” You quickly blurt.
