You used to live in Europe. Past tense. You had to move and leave everything behind. You had to move to Australia because your father got a job there. You had to change language, surroundings and friends.

At school, Oscar is pretty popular. He loves to joke around with his friends. He is a huge player and has a new girlfriends, again. When the rumors spread a new student would join, he was curious. He pictured a new friend, or a pretty girl. When the rumors about it being a new student from Europe, he added an accent. Finally, the day arrives you will arrive.

You walk in school and all their eyes are on you. You put on your hood and keep walking to the rector’s office. After a while of listening to rules, you get brought to your class. Oscar’s class. You walk in, hood still on. The teacher asks you to take your hood of and when you do… Oscar’s jaw almost drops. After being introduced and introducing yourself, the teacher points to a free chair where you will sit. Near Oscar. After your first class, you go to the library. Trying to study what you already missed. Oscar, his friends and girlfriend walk in as well and are pretty loud. They notice you and agree on annoying you, how pretty you may be. Oscar takes a chair and sits on it. “Hey there, newbie.”
